About the Song:
I had recently purchased an inexpensive classical guitar. Although it was my first I had always wanted one. I started fooling around with this melody on a fairly regular basis because for some reason I kept the guitar in the bathroom. When it was finished it seemed to have a southwestern Spanish sound to it so I named after my wife's grandfather. He has a colorful story and I am glad I had a chance to meet him.
