Latest Album: Journeyman

About the Album:

This cd has somewhat been in the works for thirty-five years. I traveled with a rock and show group in the 70's called "THE GRINGOS", then I settled into playing piano/guitar-bars and restaurants for twenty-five years, mostly as a single. I decided a couple of years ago to see if I could finish some old songs and write some new ones. I contacted a long-time friend to produce it for me and this is the result. Billy Williams and I had a lot of fun putting these songs together. It has been one of the great joy's of my life working with this talented man. We played or were responsible for all the instruments on the cd, except that our friend Bob Henke plays bass on "LOVE RUN". Billy did the horn and string arrangements and the fancy guitar stuff.

"SLOW BOOGIE" is from a session produced by John Florez in 1986. It was digitized and remixed by Dave Nichols at his Livinghead Audio studio.

Special thanks to Paul Windes.

Upcoming Album: Duet on the Road

About The Album:

Hopefully by the end of summer 07 the "Duet On The Road" CD will be completed. This is a road CD. It is for people who like to travel on the open road, whether by motorcycle, classic car, motor-home, or family wheels.

There are nine original songs and three covers. The basic tracks were done at Livinghead Studio in Phoenix. The remaining tracks will be done at Billy Williams's studio. Billy is a Grammy winner and a long time friend of ours.

The idea started in 2002 when I was working in Williams, Arizona.  It was the 75th anniversary of Rt. 66 and there were many individuals and groups that were traveling to celebrate the occasion. I wrote some of the songs and co-wrote some with Klide Score. There are three covers on the CD that pertain to travel. One is a parody of the classic " Get Your Kicks On Rt. 66".

Duet is myself and Bob Henke. Bob and I have been working together for about 10 years. We started playing music together at Miss Kitty's in Williams. Bob played with the "Goosecreek Symphony (goosecreeksymphony.com) for about six years, during which time the group recorded three albums with Capital Records and one with Columbia. They produced a few more that were distributed by the big labels. Bob then played with "Dr. Hook" for six years and then he played in Glen Campbell's band for six years. Bob has earned nearly two dozen gold platinum and silver records internationally.

Rt. 66 Magazine has committed to do an article on the CD when it is completed. Bob and I are looking forward to the release of this CD as we hope we will be traveling again and playing at some road centered events.
